Assignment Title: Technical Expert II (Mechanical Engineer)
The Ministry of Spatial Planning of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has received financing from KfW originating from the Federal Republic of Germany towards the cost of the project “Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings (Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina)”and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include preparing and supervising the technical activities for the implementation of energy efficiency subprojects within the Project Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Spatial Planning of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Ministry of Spatial Planning of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Project Implementation Unit now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
The shortlisting criteria are:
- University degree (at least Bachelor) in mechanical engineering from an accredited university; a Master’s degree in these fields will be considered a plus;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience, including knowledge of and experience with energy conservation measures and assessments for buildings, and knowledge of/experience with local construction practices, procedures and laws; experience with development of EE projects (including financial structuring) would be considered an asset;
- Fluent in English and a local language (reading, speaking, writing);
- Advanced computer skills in key programs; (Microsoft Office, DWG Viewer)
- Excellent management, reporting and teamwork skills;
- Experience working on international projects is desirable.

A Consultant will be awarded by way of a support of a staff selection process under national competitive bidding.
